Cantilever Gate Installation in Redmond, WA

For this project in Redmond, WA, the homeowner wanted a modern entrance solution with full privacy, low maintenance, and quiet daily operation. One of the key requirements was to avoid chain-drive gate openers because of noise and additional maintenance over time.

To meet these goals, we installed a cantilever sliding gate system with a BENINCA automatic operator and remote control access. This created a smooth and reliable entry solution for everyday residential use.

The gate was built with a custom locally welded steel frame made to fit the property layout. This gave the system the rigidity, durability, and precise fit needed for long-term outdoor use.

We used a cantilever gate design because it operates without a ground track. That makes the system more practical for driveways where gravel, dirt, leaves, or wet Northwest conditions can interfere with daily operation.

For the infill, we installed galvanized ATLAS louvered slats. They provide strong privacy, a clean modern look, and low-maintenance durability. The louvered design also allows airflow, which helps reduce wind pressure on the gate.

This project also included a wireless keypad access system for convenient entry without a remote, as well as integrated LED lighting to give the entrance a cleaner and more finished appearance at night.

Ferro Gates installed a privacy screen using the Tisa picket fencing, which is normally used for a standard fence. I was referred to Ferro-Gates by a local fence installer, they went with me to a supply store and picked up all the supplies I needed for a small privacy wall project. We,ve installed fence and two pedestrian gates with Ferro-Gates
The materials are modern, grey color. This is the only one company near the Bellevue, WA, which provides not only black metal fence. The communication was very clear,an estimate hadn't any hidden parts, and it was pretty reasonable price for the fence and hardware they used for the installation. They probably spent more time for the gates installation on my property, than they expected, because we are pretty picky. But the result is exactly the same as I we discussed.
